Peninsula Baptist sent a team of 8 into Guyana, South America a couple weeks ago. Below you will see pictures from the area as well as a few videos to show the sights and sounds from there trip. Please be sure and listen to a special Podcast by Pastor Nate and Pastor Daniel as they tell stories of what they witnessed God do during this mission trip!
At Peninsula, we exist to serve our community—that’s what we’re all about. We are always looking for opportunities to help others the way God has helped us.
As a church, we are passionate about where we live and are involved in neighborhood-specific efforts to share the love and goodness of God with those we encounter in our community. We focus on programs and initiatives that introduce our neighbors, and ultimately the world, to the love of Christ and His purpose for their lives.
We are currently involved in local ministries such as Lake Norman Pregnancy Life Center, English as a Second Language, Fuzion Teen Center, Food For Days, and more. Peninsula also supports and partners with the North Carolina Baptist Missions, North American Missions Board and International Missions Board. Recently Peninsula has partnered with a church plant in Baltimore, Maryland.
