Heritage Builders is a LifeSkills program for teens aging out of foster care without permanency (ages13-18). The advocate will establish a relationship with the youth hopefully developing a long term relationship with the individual. Commitments: attend this initial advocate training (2 hour session) | attend 1 meeting per month for 1 year (12 sessions in the evening from 5:30-8:30) | commit to keeping the youth in their daily prayer life | advocate for the future well-being of this child in a mentor and friendship capacity | exemplify a Christ-centered walk to model for the youth. Training Meeting will be on Thursday, March 27 at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall Dinner and childcare are provided.
