Mission Outreach Locally and Globally
At Peninsula, we exist to make disciples in Mooresville, North America and to the ends of the earth.
As a church, we are passionate about where we live and are involved in neighborhood-specific efforts to share the love and goodness of God with those we encounter in our community. We focus on programs and initiatives that introduce our neighbors, and ultimately the world, to the love of Christ and His purpose for their lives.
We are currently involved in local ministries such as Community Pregnancy Center of Lake Norman, Fuzion Teen Center, Food For Days, Mooresville Christian Mission, FeedNC, and more.
Outside on Mooresville, Peninsula also supports and partners with the North Carolina Baptist Missions and the North American Missions Board. We are working alongside church plants in Bel Air, MD (Connecting Church), Concord, NC (Risen Church), and the University area of Charlotte (King’s Church).
As well, we desire to see the gospel go to the nations. We are thankful to partner with the International Missions Board in their work of sending over 3,500 missionaries across the world. Peninsula also directly partners with an IMB team in Paris, France and Grace Ministries in Guyana.
To learn how you can get involved with outreach, contact Pastor Adam Moore or Resident Intern for Missions and Outreach, Austin Gardner.
Local Missions Interest Meeting
Thursday, August 8
6:30-7:30pm in the Fellowship Hall
At Peninsula, one of our goals is to equip our church family to make disciples from our neighborhoods to the nations. We regularly have opportunities to be "on mission" here in our local community.
If you are interested in learning more about our ministry partners and ways you can be involved in local missions, please plan to attend an Interest Meeting. Free childcare is available and we will serve coffee and dessert.
Upcoming Opportunities
At Peninsula, we desire to impact our community and world for Christ. We have upcoming opportunities for our church family to serve together in that work. We are incredibly excited about these upcoming opportunities, and we hope you will thoughtfully and prayerfully consider how the Lord may lead you to serve.
For mission trips, we use an application process.
For most of our local mission opportunities we will ask for commitment through sign up forms.
