At Peninsula, we believe that God’s call to build solid homes, live Biblical truth, and impact our community and world for Christ begins in each home. With this in mind, we have putt together weekly lesson guides for the Gospel Project, our Sunday curriculum. A new lesson will be available each Friday and include devotions geared toward every age. This resource is for everyone -- singles, couples, empty nesters, senior adults, and families with teens or young children.
It is so wonderful to be able to regather as a church family! We have missed you! As we prepare for our services each week, we are asking you to help by registering weekly for the service you will attend. Our number one priority is to ensure there is space for anyone who desires to be here on Sunday morning. This small step helps us make that happen. If you have any questions, please contact Adam Moore.
As children transition into the school years, life for the entire family changes. Whether parents choose public school, private school or home-school, the primary focus of their child’s day will be academics. The choices you make for your children during this time can set the trajectory for your family priorities and how you spend your time. It is crucial that you choose to make discipling your children to love and follow Christ a priority above other pursuits.
Though this school year may look very different for many kindergartners, Peninsula wants to celebrate with you as your child prepares to enter school, and wants to walk beside you to help you maintain your family’s focus on Christ during this pivotal transition.
The First Day of School Milestone event will be available both in-person and virtually. The in-person event will take place on Sunday, August 9 at 2:30 pm and the Virtual event will take place on Monday, August 10 at 7:00 pm.
Please register by Wednesday, August 5.
Register now to be part of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). We are excited to meet together face to face as we Decide to Rise above obstacles we have encountered during the pandemic. Our mission has not changed, MOPS International encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders in Christ. However, our meeting time for the Fall semester is different. We will now be gathering the second and fourth Tuesday each month from 7:30-9:00 pm beginning on August 25th. The main reason for our shift in time is due to the guidelines we must follow to allow any type of childcare. This semester we will serve yummy desserts instead of breakfast but unfortunately, we will only be offering childcare on a very limited basis if you have no alternative option. Please join us! We look forward to seeing you very soon.
Starting Point is an event to help you connect to life and mission at Peninsula. If you have been to Peninsula one week or a few years but have questions about how to get connected, this event is for you. This event will help you learn more about Connect Groups, serving, baptism, missions and more. Starting Point is also our process for becoming a member at Peninsula.
