We are thankful for you being our guest at Peninsula. On this page you can learn more about our church family, including what we are about and how to get involved. If you have any questions about a particular ministry area, what we believe, or about what it means to follow Jesus, you can send us a note through the "next steps" button below.

God’s Word is the final authority in our lives and the basis for what we teach and believe. We are committed to the application of the Bible in daily life through in-depth study and balanced teaching. This means we regularly teach through books of the Bible in our weekly worship gathering, study the Bible in our Connect Groups, and teach what we believe in our Equip times.

More information about each of these opportunities can be found under the "Get Involved" tab.

Through engaging programs and initiatives, we build generations of strong families empowered to discover and live out God’s purpose for their lives.  We are passionate about equipping the people of Peninsula to take part in the building of God’s Kingdom, and provide ongoing education and training related to living lives of impact for Christ. We are thankful to partner with our families as they take the lead in discipling those in their home. Learn more under the "Ministries" tab.

We are committed to being a church that is constantly seeking ways to serve our church body, community, and world in order to make an impact for Christ.  We are so thankful to partner with incredible ministries in our community such as the Community Pregnancy Center of Lake Norman, Fuzion Teen Center, Mooresville Christian Mission, FeedNC, Food for Days, and more. In North America, we are support church plants in the greater Charlotte area and in Baltimore. Finally, we work alongside missionary teams in France working with European and Asian Pacific Rim people groups. In all these partnerships, it is our desire to see Jesus known from Mooresville to the nations.

We are Multi-Generational

Valuing both young and old creates a rich tapestry of perspectives and experiences. The wisdom of older generations can guide and mentor young families and youth, while the energy and innovative ideas of younger members can invigorate the community. This blend fosters an environment where people of all ages are valued and included, giving us a sweet fellowship that feels more like family.

We are blessed to see all age groups represented. From young kids to senior adults, there is a place for you at Peninsula.

  • Our senior adult ministry provides a space for our older members to connect, share experiences, and support each other.
  • Adult Connect Groups offer a space for adults to build relationships and grow in their faith together with people in a similar life stage.
  • Peninsula Youth engages middle and high schoolers (6th-12th Grades), providing them with a biblical foundation to grow in their love for the Lord and navigate the challenges of the day.
  • The elementary and preschool ministries offer environments for our youngest members to learn about faith and partner with families to develop their spiritual foundations.

Together, each of these groups help you find a community of believers and grow in your knowledge and love of God.
