How can we help?

The devastation from hurricane Helene has affected so many of our neighbors.

As Peninsula continues to respond to meet the needs in our state, we are providing lists

of opportunities to join in relief efforts in Western NC here.

Our first response should always be prayer. It's hard to imagine a catastrophe of this proportion. Please lift up those who are living through it as well as those deployed to help. The need is great, our God is greater.

Give Money HERE

Designated gifts will go directly to Baptists On Mission who have boots on the ground to assist with relief efforts.  As of October 7 we have collected over $62,000.

We are halting donations at this time...

The outpouring of donations has been tremendous, and we are grateful for all who have contributed. Most of our 50+ site contacts are currently flush with donations and continue to seek the best way to get them out to those in need. What a praise! The church has indeed provided in this time of need.

Opportunities to Go

There will be many ways to serve over the next weeks, months, and beyond. Below are the most current ways Peninsula is recommending as ways to go.

Option 1: Sign-up to serve with Baptists On Mission. If you are interested in serving in flood recovery, chainsaw, temporary roof repair, or general clean-up efforts, this organization is arranging efforts in multiple locations. Once you sign up, Baptist On Mission will contact you directly.

Option 2: We
are filling requests for small short term teams to go as churches can handle volunteers. If you'd like to be on the short term list, contact Adam Moore.
