Starting Point is an event to help you connect to life and mission at Peninsula. If you have been to Peninsula one week or a few years but have questions about how to get connected, this event is for you. This event will help you learn more about Connect Groups, serving, baptism, missions and more. Starting Point is also our process for becoming a member at Peninsula.

First Day of School

Milestone Event

As children transition into the school years, life for the entire family changes. Whether parents choose public school, private school or home-school, the primary focus of their child’s day will be academics. Along with the transition to school comes the opportunity to be involved in sports and other extra-curricular activities. The choices you make for your children during this time can set the trajectory for your family priorities and how you spend your time. It is crucial that you choose to make discipling your children to love and follow Christ a priority above other pursuits. Peninsula wants to celebrate with you as your child enters school, and wants to walk beside you to help you maintain your family’s focus on Christ during this pivotal transition.

Parents with young elementary-age children are encouraged to join us for this event on Sunday, August 14 at 12:00 pm.

Lunch will be provided and childcare is available.

(Mothers of Preschoolers)

Location:  The Youth Center

MOPS will be meeting 9:30 - 11:30 am on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month (September - May).  We gather and support preschool moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together, face to face. That’s why we rally women to come together in their own neighborhoods and help each other through this thing called motherhood, one gathering at a time.  During this time childcare is only provided on a limited basis for moms who have no other alternative option.

Please contact Shelley Byrne for any questions  You can also visit our Facebook Page to find out more about our group.
