What is Discipleship?
At Peninsula, we believe discipleship is more than simply preaching and teaching the Word. True discipleship happens through meaningful relationships with other believers, where we encourage, challenge, and help one another grow into the likeness of Christ.
A disciple is a believer who eagerly desires and intentionally pursues spiritual maturity in Christ. At Peninsula, we are committed to making disciples who make disciples.

Discipleship Pathway Groups
Discipleship Pathway Groups (DP4) are small groups of four designed around the model Jesus used - investing deeply in a small group of 3 disciples. Each group follows a curriculum that includes personal study throughout the week and regular gatherings for discussion, encouragement, and spiritual growth together.
If you are interested in joining a group, contact Pastor Mark at mark.smith@peninsulabaptist.com.

Discipleship Opportunities
Life alongside other believers is woven into many of the ministries at Peninsula. Connect Groups meet on Sunday mornings and provide a space to build meaningful relationships and grow deeper in community with other believers. Our groups are generally organized by age and life stage.
In addition, we offer Bible studies each spring and fall, where men and women meet separately to study the same material. These studies create another opportunity to connect, grow in God’s Word, disciple others, and be discipled.
